Week 11

Reintroduction of Bison...   Priority would be space and land,  lots of land.  If that was not available, as much land as possible.  We cant simply throw a captive bison into the wild and say good luck and reproduce...  Its would take a generation, maybe two for them to get the wild instincts back and start roaming as they did.  So ti would seem that we have to more or less be their little "watcher overers" for a little bit so they can adapt at their own and best pace possible.  Also, do our best to make sure an abundant food source was around.  Because as we have seen with humans and deer and most every other animal that has an abundant food source, reproduction significantly increases.

In time, we could reset the natural balance, for sure.  But that might mean that some people need to leave the area to provide enough land and roaming for the bison.  But yes, it can be done although I don't think it will ever be like it was, unless there is a huge change in the human population.  But it is being shown to the world that the populations can increase and the bison can roam the countryside again, we just need to let it happen.
